The 75 year old lady farmer Germana Thoeni lives in a valley high up in the alpine regions of Southern Tirolia, which was more or less cut off from technological developments until far in to the twentieth century. She is one of the last to maintain a lot of the knowledge of her ancestors to procure for almost anything one would need in day to day living. She is tenacious, creative and trusts in God to provide for all things else.
